Who we are
GuideNord is an app by Kallistesoft, in Québec (Canada). For any question: contact@kallistesoft.ca. By using GuideNord or signing in, you accept these terms.
18 and over
GuideNord is for people aged 18 and over.
What the app does
GuideNord is a directory that connects people with independent hunting and fishing guides. We don't sell trips, take bookings or receive payments for them. We are not a party to anything you agree with a guide.
We don't check a guide's safety, licences or insurance. Reviewing an offer before it is published is not a full verification, a recommendation or a guarantee.
If you are a guide
- Your offers are accurate and up to date: species, dates, price, place
- You hold the licences, permits and insurance required for what you offer
- You follow the laws that apply to you and your clients
If you are looking for a guide
Check a guide's licences and references yourself before you commit. You are responsible for your own licences, preparation and safety. Hunting, fishing and travel in remote areas involve risks, including serious injury.
What is not allowed
- False or misleading content
- Illegal content or activities, such as poaching
- Dangerous content
- Offensive, hateful or harassing content
- Spam, and advertising unrelated to a guided trip
Reporting and blocking
On an offer, tap "Report this offer", or email contact@kallistesoft.ca. Reports come to us and we review them. You can also block a guide: their offers no longer show on your phone.
We can remove an offer or close an account that breaks these terms, with or without notice.
Ads
GuideNord is free and funded by ads. Some features, such as contacting a guide, ask you to watch an ad.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kallistesoft is not liable for any damage, loss or cost related to using GuideNord, to an offer, or to a trip with a guide. These terms don't limit any right that the law doesn't allow to be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the laws of Canada that apply there.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version is posted on this page with its date. Continuing to use GuideNord means you accept it.
